Matchi is a tiny flame spirit born in the tea fields of Nishio, Japan, one of the country's great matcha regions. One quiet night, a small flare fell from the sky and landed on a young matcha leaf. It didn't burn out. It became Matchi. Matchi is slow, calm, and never in a hurry. Good matcha can't be rushed, and neither can a good hold. When the chart goes up, Matchi gets roasted into hojicha brown. When the chart goes down, Matchi cools into melting matcha ice cream. But the flame never goes out.
